What is Smart Content?  As HubSpot, a Marketing software company with a blog explained, “smart content is content that adapts to the characteristics of the person consuming it.”.  A newer marketing concept, smart content will help improve relationships with your consumers. 

For instance, using a good CRM system is a start to building smart content, especially if you are in the service business.   By learning everything possible about your clients (within reason) you can greatly expand your customer database.  In my experience working in the sports industry, learning simple things like a fans birthday, their church or club and so on increased my chances of selling a sporting event several times to the same person as opposed to just once.
